The Best Vogue Cologne by Rachel Ash

When it comes to perfumes there are few more distinctive and recognizable brand names than Versace. For over thirty years, Versace has been designing and manufacturing some of the most iconic and distinctive fragrances in the world. With the Versace perfume business now in its third decade, it is no surprise that they continue to be so popular and sought after. If you're wondering which fragrance is the best, then here are three great choices:

First, let's start with the cons. Versace Cologne combines spicy citrus-freshening notes with earthy or woodsy undertones such as cedar and musk. Some scents of rose or other floral elements as top notes to enhance the fragrance, while others have tobacco and other uncommon notes lend scents a unique, but otherwise not overpowering, fragrance. Even though there are very few floral or oriental notes in this scent, for many women this is a strength that they don't find appealing. One con of this product is that it can get irritating when worn by people who don't work or socialize with the same frequency as those who do.

Next up is Vanilla Viva, another best Versace Cologne. This light scent is less spicy than Versace Colognes and leans more on the oriental side. It has a light vanilla scent, not quite a vanilla scent, and is less complex than some of the others. The scent of Vanilla Viva is best worn at night and while doing something strenuous. The scent is also recommended for aging skin types.

Last but not least is Paris Hilton perfume. Paris Hilton is best known for her wild parties, drinking, and partying, so it's understandable that this scent would not be one that is necessarily attractive to the opposite sex. But, like all of the others in this collection, it does its job well at attracting people to you, which is what it was intended for. Like Versace Colognes, there are very few cons to this scent, although it is usually described as a sexy scent and people tend to compare it to Peotone, which is probably because the two fragrances share some of the same notes, such as rose and vanilla, as well as the light floral smell of lavender.

A newer addition to the Best Vogue Cologne line is Oud Noir, which is described as having a woody aroma and a very oriental twist. The packaging of Oud Noir is quite intriguing, as it comes in a wooden crate that looks like it could be an antique box. Inside the crate is a bottle that looks like a bottle of Champagne, with a tag on the bottom reading "Acevedeum". Oud Noir comes in three bottles, with one being smaller that have a small label, and the other two bottles being larger and more elaborate in design, with labels around the neckline and on the cork for a more dramatic effect.

This is another Cologne that is considered one of the best Vogue Cologne scents, and it is also one of those with some great pros to it, as well. One of the pros to Oud Noir is the richness of the vanilla scent, which is very present and detectable, even on first application. There is also a woody aroma that is present, which blends nicely with the vanilla scent. In addition, longevity is excellent, as it lasts about four and half hours on my body, which is about average for an oriental Cologne.
