Iomega Ego-Drive just announced that they will be updating their Ego-drive series portable drives to now include USB 3.0 connectivity and eventually moving to USB 3.0 across all its external hard drive ranges. The company haskept the prices of the new USB 3.0 drives the same price as the old ones for the near future, to make it affordable to consumers. It features 256-bit hardware encryption for data protection, and Drop Guard Xtreme to ensure that the drive is safe from drops and bumps. Available in stylish colorways with matching Power Grip band. ~$137.
