Nokia - The Lumia 710 is being pitched as Nokia's more 'affordable' Windows Phone smartphone. As such, it has a slightly pared-down features list. Both also benefit from some impressive music features. The Nokia Music app - which requires no log-in or payment - includes a feature called Mix Radio. This offers a whole host of streamed playlists, sorted by genre, that can be saved to your device for offline listening. Even better, they're updated weekly by Nokia's music team.

The Nokia 800 benefits from a separate graphics processor - something which should give it strong performance with games.

Nokia Pulse is another new app that's exclusive to Nokia's Lumia range of phones. From what we've seen so far, it seems like superpowered text messaging. Your messages can be sent to groups of friends and instantly geo-tagged. This might come in handy if, for instance, you've found a great new restaurant and want to let your mates know all about it.

As with other Windows Phone 7.5 smartphones, the Lumia 800 is being pushed as a gamer's best friend. If you've got an Xbox account, you can integrate your phone into it. This enables you to check when your Xbox friends are online, make changes to your avatar and keep tabs on your achievements. Of course, you can also download games to play on the move.

Nokia - Both the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 combine all of your social networks, so Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and your chat and text messages all show up in a single conversation.

Nokia - The Lumia 710 offers a more affordable price tag to the Lumia 800, and some of that is almost certainly down to the finish. To hit the cheaper price tag, the body on the Lumia 710 is all plastic, losing the luxury feel of the 800.

The battery life on the Lumia 710 is said to offer up to seven hours of talktime, and up to 38 hours of music playback.
